As our cohort of sponsored children progress through the educational system, this will become increasingly important. We would welcome any donations for this specific purpose.
Donations for specific projects, or projects in general, would be welcomed. Our twice yearly newsletters will give updated information on all ongoing projects.

Volunteering in the UK
SEDCU undertakes projects identified by the schools and aimed at enhancing school facilities for disadvantaged children, creating opportunities for them to gain a broader experience of life, improving the quality of their education. The schools submit project proposals to SEDCU and, if they meet SEDCU’s criteria, we fundraise to deliver. We seek volunteers who would be prepared to fund-raise, for example by organising a coffee morning, a drinks event, a barbecue, a dinner, or collecting sponsorship for a walk, run or similar. There may be other opportunities to fund-raise at your work. SEDCU will provide all the support you may need through provision of leaflets, slideshows, display boards or by showing up on the day to speak to potential donors.
